Solo Argento, meaning “only silver” in Italian, captures the elegance of silver in its purest form. Its satin-brushed dial, paired with rhodium-plated hands and markers, creates a delicate interplay of light, shifting from bright metallic to matte grey. Its ergonomic rectangular case is now 43 × 32 mm (down from 45 × 33 mm). Thanks to a mechanical movement just 2.5 mm thick, the watch achieves a remarkably elegant 8.7 mm profile including the crystal, giving the 528 S2 a sleeker, more elegant profile. The Golden Ratio proportions of the original design have been preserved, while wearability and comfort on the wrist have been significantly enhanced.

MOVEMENT

The 528 S2 is powered by the La Joux-Perret D101, a Swiss-made manual movement renowned for its slim profile, precision, and 50-hour power reserve. This hand-wound calibre displays only hours and minutes, keeping the dial clean and uncluttered. With no date mechanism, complications are kept to a minimum, reducing the risk of mechanical failure. Thanks to its slender profile, the 528 S2 is lighter, more elegant, and even more comfortable on the wrist.

 

LA JOUX-PERREt

The La Joux-Perret D101, based on the legendary Peseux 7001 calibre, is a well-known hand-wound movement in the watch industry for its 2.5 mm thickness, reliability, and refined finishing. With a 50-hour power reserve, 18 jewels, Côtes de Genève decoration, polished anglage, and blued screws, the LJP D101 combines slimness, technical precision, and exceptional craftsmanship, making it highly prized by collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.

DELUGS FOR MÖELS

We’ve partnered with DeLugs, a Singapore-based supplier renowned for high-quality straps and Leaf-Spring Deployant clasps. Choose from premium Epsom leather straps in four colours (black, blue, green, and taupe) or a white FKM rubber strap with a cut-to-size (CTS) design that trims easily with scissors. 

STATE-OF-ART MANUFACTURING

The 528 case is not standard, a special mould had to be made and refined by a 5-axis CNC milling machine. The precision needed for the holes and threads for the spherical crown, movement holder and case back is around 5 microns, which is approximately 1/20th of the thickness of a human hair.

'GRADE A' QUALITY

'Grade A' is a classification that stands for exceptionally high-quality materials, manufacturing and craftsmanship. Products designated as 'Grade A' offer superior finishing, performance, value and durability over time. The 528 S2 is built to this standard throughout, from case to assembly and QC.

WATER RESISTANCE

The two-part case construction features a see-through caseback secured with eight slotted screws and paired with a double-domed sapphire crystal. The 528 S2 is fitted with a standard 6 mm spherical push-pull crown, while a custom-made gasket provides 50 m (5 ATM) of water resistance.

  • Local taxes and customs duties vary by country.

    UK ORDERS: Prices include VAT and duties, as the watches will be assembled and shipped domestically within the UK, so UK customers will not need to pay anything extra.

    US ORDERS: US import tariffs (federal duties) are included in the price, as orders will be fulfilled within the US, so no additional import charges apply. Depending on the state, local taxes may apply and will be collected by FedEx or DHL prior to delivery.

    EU ORDERS: VAT and import duties are not included in the price, as orders will be shipped from Switzerland, a non-EU country. These will be collected by FedEx or DHL prior to delivery. Rates vary by country, typically between 17% and 25%.

    OTHER COUNTRIES: Duties and taxes are not included. Customers are responsible for paying any applicable import charges, which will be collected by FedEx or DHL prior to delivery. Please check your country’s import fees before ordering.

    PLEASE NOTE: Möels&Co is not liable for any delays caused by customs clearance in overseas countries. We do not communicate with local customs authorities to clear your order, nor do we cover any costs incurred while your watch is held by customs.

  • Cancellations are allowed up to 30 days after placing a pre-order. If you cancel within this period, we will issue a refund minus the non-refundable card processing fees (typically 3–5%) charged by our payment provider.

    After 30 days, cancellations are not possible. As a small brand operating on low margins, pre-order funds are allocated immediately to production. Once committed, these funds cannot be reclaimed.

  • We ship to most countries, with the exception of the following: Russia, Ukraine, North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire, Iran, Sierra Leone, Myanmar, Liberia, Lebanon, Sudan, Iraq, Syria, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Crimea, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and Afghanistan.

    PLEASE NOTE: Despite the shipping restrictions, customers from these countries still have an alternative delivery option. They can use parcel forwarding companies by placing an order, filling in the seller’s details as the consignor, and making the payment. The courier company will then collect the parcel from us and ship it to you.

  • Every Möels is fully covered by a 3-year international limited warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty covers manufacturing and mechanical defects only; it does not extend to wear and tear or malfunctions arising from accidents, misuse, negligence, alterations, modifications, or any services or repairs conducted by non-certified watchmakers.

    WHAT IS COVERED

    • Visible damage or defects discovered upon unpacking.

    • Malfunctioning crown screw threads.

    • Clasp issues preventing proper opening or closing.

    • Severe timekeeping deviations.

    PLEASE NOTE: Deviations over time are expected and normal. The average deviation of a La Joux-Perret D101 manual movement is typically between ±10 to 20 seconds per day under regular conditions. If your Möels runs significantly beyond this tolerance within the first year, the warranty will apply. From the second year onward, the responsibility for movement regulation will fall to the customer.

    WHAT IS NOT COVERED

    • Damage from water if the crown is not fully pushed in.

    • Damage from impacts, drops, misuse, or accidents.

    • Exposure to extreme conditions (heat, cold, vibrations, shocks, magnetism).

    • Customisation or tampering, which voids the warranty.

    WARRANTY TRANSFERABILITY

    The warranty is fully transferable. It stays with the watch, covering any subsequent owners, ensuring they receive the same protection. We want all our wearers, whether they purchased directly from us or not, to be happy with our watches.

    CONFLICT RESOLUTION

    Our goal is always to find a fair and positive resolution. If a dispute regarding the warranty cannot be resolved, it may be referred to Consumer Protection Rights in the UK.

  • We work hard to make sure every Möels arrives in perfect condition. However, if you receive a flawed or damaged product, we will either exchange it for a new one or issue a full refund upon the return of the defective item. Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted. We will cover the shipping costs and issue a full refund only if the returned item complies with the terms and conditions below.

    1- Before you start a return, please take photos of the damaged item and send them to Betina Menescal at betina@moels.co.uk within two working days of delivery.

    2- Please return the watch with all protective plastics intact on the bracelet, crystal, and caseback, along with all documents, accessories, and the commercial invoice, in its original packaging.

    3- Returned watches must show no visible signs of wear or use.

    4- Watches that have been damaged by the customer will not be accepted for return.

    5- Return shipping must be carried out by a reliable courier service that provides insurance and a tracking number. If we are unable to arrange a pickup in your country, we kindly ask that you ship it back to us. We will reimburse the shipping costs afterward.

    6- While the package is in transit, it remains the customer's responsibility until it arrives at our fulfilment centre in Switzerland.

    7- Returns received after 14 days from the original receipt may be considered at the discretion of Möels&Co, and will be eligible for credit only.

    8- We do not refund any customs duties or taxes paid by customers. It is the customer's responsibility to contact the courier company directly to request a refund for any duties or taxes paid on returned shipments.

    9- The refund process will begin once we receive and inspect the watch. A full refund will only be issued if the watch is found to be defective or damaged. If you wish to return your Möels for any other reason and request a full refund, you will need to contact Consumer Protection Rights in the UK to file a claim.

  • Yes, you can. However, as a small brand working with tight margins, we cannot offer full refunds for returns if the watch has no defects. We’ve had cases where customers returned watches simply because they didn’t like the colour, which resulted in losses for us. We understand that sometimes the watch may not resonate with you after experiencing it, but once the watch has been worn and the plastic seals removed, it can no longer be resold at full price. Therefore, we can only offer a 50% refund of the amount paid to help cover the significant costs of handling, shipping, fulfilment, and its devaluation as a second-hand product. To help prevent situations like this, we ensure our customers are fully informed in advance. Our website provides illustrations with exact measurements, high-resolution photos, and a TRY-ON template that can be downloaded to test the size on your wrist.
